Michelle Artzberger is a 2019 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lawton, OK who attends Lawton HS. Medium frame with present athleticism and room to add strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who starts slightly open from the windup. No wasted motion in the delivery with a leg lift slightly above the belt. Hides the ball well with a late break from the glove to add deception. Shorter arm action and a three-quarter arm slot on release. Generates some cut on the fastball at times that was a weapon against righthanded hitters. Worked very well to the arm side of the plate and featured a 1/7 breaking ball with good spin and big break to it. Secondary first baseman with fluid, easy actions and clean hands. Footwork was impressive and maintains well on the run. Lefthanded hitter with a balanced, slightly open stance. High hand set with a high back elbow and looseness to hands. Some lower half shift into contact with a slightly lofted plane. Flashed the ability to create leverage throughout the lower half. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
