Garrett Perezchica is a 2020 SS with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Palm Desert, CA who attends Palm Desert HS. Slender young middle infielder's build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.68 runner, shows very good quickness in the middle infield on defense, comes and gets the ball and has a quick and clean release, more of a second base look, actions and arm strength but can make plays at shortstop with his quickness. Right handed hitter, deep hand load with an inside tight swing path, has some quickness to his hands, level line drive swing, gets out of the box well and will beat out infield hits, should keep improving offensively as he gets stronger. Very good student.
