2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Christian Silvero-Jones is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lagrange, NC who attends Arendell Parrott Academy. Very physical and well-proportioned frame with strength and size throughout the build. Primary outfielder with a full arm action and aggressive actions to the ball. Quick feet with accurate throws and very low effort upon release. Reads the ball well and fields cleanly to the side and out in front. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and a high hand set with a high back elbow. Very easy swing with a loose path to contact. Consistent and repeatable line drive swing plane. Simple with minimal moving parts and a very easy trigger into contact. Flashes bat speed when extended and made consistent hard hit contact up the middle and to the pull side. Tremendous strength in the box with a highest recorded exit velocity of 95 mph. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
