Dylan Conrad is a 2018 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha North. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Ran a 6.90 sixty-yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher with a side step to leg lift delivery. Utilizes lower half well while driving to the plate and working through finish. Releases from a mid to low three-quarters arm slot. Fastball created running action to arm side in the upper 70's, topping at 79 miles per hour. Curveball had 1/7 shape with loose, late depth. Also flashed a changeup in the low 70's with solid fading action to arm side. Consistently stayed down in the strike zone with all three pitches, developing feel to the edges of the plate. Also worked out defensively from first base should fundamental footwork while centering the baseball and working around the bag. Funnels the baseball with fluid glove actions out front and released form a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws created accurate carry across the infield topping at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and high back elbow set. Works to a taller front side at contact with linear lower half actions. Flashed present bat speed and strength at contact with a leveraged plane through extension. When on time, generated good jump off the barrel producing rising line drives to the gaps. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and fluidity.
