Darian Howard is a 2019 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Pace Academy. Large frame with physical strength present to the build. Ran a 6.97 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, athletic movements to the baseball and around the bag, present quick-twitch athleticism with hands that play the baseball cleanly, breaks down at gather getting into a good position to through, quick footwork bouncing off of the bag on plays to second base, solid arm strength from first base as well. Righthanded hitter, crouched stance with a high hand set and a high back elbow to start, fluidity to swing getting on plane nicely, lots of balance and consistency to swing, natural loft on the swing with present juice and jump off of the barrel. Good student.
