Will Hart is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Madison, NJ who attends Madison High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 5.11 40-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, short side step at start into a high leg lift at balance point, incorporates lower half into drive well and remains on line. Clean arm action through the back side working to a three-quarters release point, shows nice arm speed and able to locate fastball to glove side consistently. Topped out at 84 mph, showed running life to arm side and mixed a tight curveball at 71 mph for strikes. Shows two-way potential with tools as lefthanded hitting outfielder. Good energy to the ball in the outfield, fields the ball out front and works through it well, quick transfer and repeats actions well, ball comes out clean and shows overall fluidity. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and does a nice job of getting even with stride/weight shift. Remains balanced, generates nice bat speed through the zone and creates extension out front. Consistent swing path and finds the barrel well, looks to create contact to pull side, shows a nice angle at point of contact with jump off the barrel. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student.
