Anthony Aleman is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-10 173 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Medium athletic build, posted a 7.13 second sixty yard dash time. Primary catcher, begins from a high set squat and works violently through his transfer on throws down. Glove works well and there's some softness there, pops up quickly out of higher set and throws from an over the top slot. Arm strength is still developing. At the plate, uses a narrow, upright stance with higher hands. Present bat speed through the zone with a slight uphill path to his barrel plane. Still manages to generate backspin on the inner half. Finds strong pop down in the zone, hands drive down through the zone well and lower half stays balanced and fluid on pitches down, struggles slightly with pitches up in the zone. Solid approach at the plate with promise. Excellent student with a 4.4 GPA.
