Austin Bell is a 2019 2B/SS/OF with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Shawnee Mission Northwest HS. Compact athletic build with some strength for his size. 6.88 runner, has quick feet on defense, moves well to the ball and shows his athleticism and balance, quick release on his throws with a short arm action, second base tools and actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a slight crouch with a low back elbow, gets to his front side very early, aggressive shift to contact and could stay back a bit longer, takes a full cut and is looking to hit the ball hard, shows some feel for the barrel, line drive swing plane. Good student.
