Jack Chester is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Piedmont, OK who attends Piedmont. HS. Tall and high-waisted frame with long limbs and present physicality who projects exceptionally well moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher with a belt high leg lift. Clean and loose arm action and threw from a higher three-quarter arm slot. Creates good downhill plane on his fastball that worked well to both sides. Stays tall on his backside through the stride down on the mound. Directional to the plate and little wasted movement in the overall delivery. Very low effort delivery and fastball up to 86 mph with more in the tank. Occasional cutting life on his fastball that was effective to get swings and misses within the strike zone. Three pitches including a hard changeup and an 11/5 curveball that was able to be thrown for strikes. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
