Rj Rhem is a 2019 OF/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Myers Park. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.92 seconds. Hits from open-based stance, leans back into load, good bat speed through the zone, hands tend to stay compact, line drive swing plane, shows strength when square, solid hitting tools that project. Primary outfielder, lines the ball up well and reads hops, works through, fields cleanly and shows balance, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Also took reps at first base, solid athlete, shows comfortable footwork both on and off of bag, gets glove underneath, clocked up to 74 mph on throws. Very good student.
