Adonys Guzman is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Valley Cottage, NY who attends Brunswick. Big and strong prototypical catcher's build, especially in the lower half. Elite level arm strength, may have the best pure arm in the 2022 class regardless of position, absolute on line lasers, gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws, strong and soft hands receiving the ball, very similar build and tool set to many big league catchers. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a line drive, all fields hitting approach, has some hand quickness and shows good pull power when turning the barrel out front, has the strength to impact the ball. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Boston College. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
