Christopher Pouliot is a 2019 LHP with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Boischatel, QC who attends Cardinal-Roy Secondary School. Athletic build with room to get stronger and plenty of physical projectability. Loose arm with some whip to hit, 3/4's arm slot, has a balanced and polished delivery with a low effort set of mechanics and release. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, more velocity there with additional strength, works both a two-seam and four-seam fastball with feel for both, nice sink on the two-seamer, can work his four-seamer inside to right handed hitters. Sweeping slider shows good spin and bite but not as much feel as his fastball. Key to development will be improving and adding to his secondary pitches. Very good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
