Logan Scully is a 2021 C/1B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Odenton, MD who attends St. Mary's. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 4.99 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball cleanly out front, sound transfer with an easy release and feel for mechanics, repeats them well, loose arm, gets long through the back at times but accurate throws with carry. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; does a nice job of rotating hips on time and shifting into contact. Balance to swing and repeats mechanics while showing a handle for the barrel, hard line drive contact off the barrel when squared and extended out front. Excellent student.
