Gavin Gawronski is a 2022 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Wauwatosa, WI who attends Marquette. Long and lanky frame with lots of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher with a leg kick above the belt, utilizes a clean and repeatable operation and stays tall throughout the delivery. Stays in line with the plate on the stride, leans back towards the first base side a bit with his upper half. Short arm action with some circle in the back, will change the timing of his leg kick to mess with hitters' timing. Attacks with the fastball, shows a floating changeup with fade. Short curveball with 11/5 shape and some tilt, limited depth in this look, good at burying the curveball and getting swing and miss. Very comfortable landing it, can throw it with downer action at times. Pretty low effort delivery, mixed speeds and locations, solid outing overall, projects well with added strength. Great student.
