Weston Duncan is a 2022 C/3B, SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Bartonville, TX who attends John H Guyer HS. Weston is a twitchy, soundly built, multi-position player who is also an exceptional student. On the infield, Weston shows well above average ability. His quick feet and sure hands play well, as he shows especially strong ability at third base . His lateral quickness is noticeable. His glove plays and he transitions to throw quite well. His strong arm allows for 82 mph throws across the diamond. He is an accurate thrower of the baseball. Behind the plate, Weston sets up in a conventional manner. His footwork is routine and he gets his throws away with a consistent arm action. His 2.01 pop time is solid and his throws are around the bag. At the plate, the strong righthanded swinger, is a dominant top hand guy. He drives the ball well and gets a lot of top spin when he barrels it up. On occasion, Weston will power the ball to the gaps and show some emerging potential to drive the ball out of the park.
