Jean Cuello is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Gulf Coast. Medium frame with an already filling out build showing strength throughout. Ran a 6.78 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, great first step instincts as he proved to have some range while working to and through the baseball athletically. Confident with the glove as he scooped it up before shuffling into a quick release. Accurate arm as he threw it 88 mph during drills. Projects well in the middle infield as he already shows feel for the position. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with an even base and slightly open. Works into a leg lift to stride as the hands stay quiet. Short and simple path to the zone as he proved he could square it up out front. Sprayed the baseball on a line back up the middle as he was in total control of the barrel. Good Student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
