Nickolas Cartmill Jr is a 2021 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Burleson. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.06 runner, is aggressive on the bases and uses his speed well. Has good footwork and positioning in the outfield, plays through the ball well, has some arm strength and carry and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and upright stance, swings aggressive and with intent, has quick hands and develops some bat speed, has barrel to ball skills and battles in the batter's body. Also pitched, throws from a side arm slot with lots of moving parts in his delivery and plenty of deception. Upper 70's fastball, worked it to both sides well with nice running action. Sweeping slider showed nice depth. Skilled player who can keep improving with additional strength. Good student.
