Trey Medford is a 2018 SS/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Medford has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He has a wide base when fielding the baseball and fields it low to the ground. Medford has active feet on the infield and has solid infield actions. He has some smoothness to his hands and transfers with some arm strength up to 80 MPH. Medford has some quickness and showed some defensive tools to improve with. At the plate he starts with a slightly open stance with a toe touch trigger. He uses a rock back load and has good hand quickness. He has a loose swing and made spray line drive contact. He showed some projection to his swing and approach and some hitting tools to work with. Excellent student.
