Owen Goodridge is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Saratoga Springs, NY who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limb, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a belt high leg lift, longer arm action through the back working to an over-the-top release point. Varies tempo and looks on the mound, fastball topped out at 83 mph, worked around the zone well, more velocity in the tank with added strength. Changeup was go-to secondary pitch, able to miss bats throughout, can maintain arm speed at release better moving forward. Flashed a short slider with develop feel for the pitch. Shows looseness to arm at first base as well, lower slot on throws with young footwork, shows accuracy on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Stays short to the ball, subtle shift through lower half moving into contact. Works on a mostly linear plane with line drive contact coming off when square, opens front side early at times. Good student.
