Jeremiah Jenkins is a 2021 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Upper Marlboro, MD who attends St. Vincent Pallotti HS. Recorded a 5.50 second 40-yard dash time. Large, physical frame with lots of strength proportioned on the build. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a slow tempo and a simple, loose delivery. Gets into a rhythm well and can command his pitches to both sides of the plate. Simple, compact delivery with a leg lift above the belt and an efficient, compact arm stroke. High three-quarters release and can work the fastball with downward angle that topped out at 82 mph. Softer breaking curveball with some shape that he could land for strikes and also mixed in a changeup. Arm strength played well from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open start, balanced stance, and looking to leverage. Impacts the ball well with good strength and carry off the barrel. Best when getting his hands extended and working to pull. Good student.
