Trey Nordmann is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Dewitt, MI who attends Bath HS. Solid pitcher's frame with a projectable build that indicates higher velocity levels in the near future. Threw from an extended three-quarters slot with long arm action that was full through the back of the motion. Had some effort in the delivery but was able to work in the lower third of the plate and throw strikes consistently. Did a good job at getting downhill to make the fastball very difficult to hit low in the zone. The fastball sat from 79-81 mph and topped out at 83 mph and showed some good arm side run. Held velocity throughout the game well and mixed in a curveball in the high-60s with 11/5 shape that showed good depth and bend to it. The pitch was used effectively to throw off hitters and generate swings and misses. Great student.
