Ryan Peters is a 2019 1B/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch HS. Has a large frame, long, lean build, and plenty of room to put on additional muscle as he further matures. Posted a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. From first base, fields the ball out front with solid accuracy on throws across, arm strength up to 80 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Stays short to the baseball while keeping his hands inside, good hand quickness and bat speed. Showed natural lift though the point of contact, has pop off the barrel especially to his pull side. On the mound, trows from a high, three-quarters arm slot with a short, compact arm circle through the back. Gets extension and finish out front, has deception in delivery. Fastball has natural running and sinking action, curveball has 11/5 shape, big break. Good student.
