Ben Cameron is a 2018 C/3B with a 5-11 188 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha West HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 7.07 runner, has quick actions defensively behind the plate, quick transfers with a quick arm circle, makes accurate throws and repeats his mechanics, stays low and has good footwork receiving the ball. Right handed hitter, balanced straight stance, short shift into contact, short downward swing, tends to cut off out front at times trying to stay short, puts backspin on the ball, handled the barrel well and makes consistent contact to all fields, showed a good eye in recognizing pitches. Solid athlete who could probably play all around the field. Should continue to improve. Good student.
