Daylen Reyes is a 2020 SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Northridge, CA who attends Notre Dame. Long and lean middle infielder's build, plenty of room to get stronger. 6.83 runner, has fluid athletic actions on defense, rounds the ball well with nice balance and quick transfers, snatchy quick hands, is light on his feet athletically and has some flair to his defensive game. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open crouched stance with a low hand set and a steady drift into contact, has quick hands but more of a downward path that put the ball on the ground frequently. Has the defensive chops to stand out and should improve offensively with strength and swing adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
