Brett Hansen is a 2018 LHP with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Pleasanton, CA who attends Foothill HS. Tall square shouldered build, long limbs, very projectable physically. Full long and loose arm action, works a bit cross body from an extended 3/4's arm slot, high leg lift start, gets very extended out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, more there in the future, will cut fastball at times and get in on left handed hitters fists, stays on top of his fastball well. Tends to slow his arm and guide his curveball and change up, curveball has 1/7 shape and some depth, cuts some cutting action on his change up as well. Throws strikes with all his pitches. Good bet to keep improving. Outstanding student. Verbal commitment to Stanford.
