Jackson Adams is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel HS. Large athletic build for his age, has some present strength with more to come. Has a loose arm from a tight high 3/4's arm slot, tends to land cross body and not get his hips open, pitches mostly arm side. Fastball up to 76 mph, gets good running and sinking action down in the zone. Slider has good 10/4 shape and action at times, change shows nice fading action and has potential. Key will be getting his delivery on line to free up his lower half and enable him to locate to both sides of the plate. Right handed hitter, arm bar start with deep hands, has strength in his swings but barrel drags through the zone from an inside hand path, shows his potential when he gets the barrel out and turns on the ball. Young athlete with a good body with a long time to develop. Good student.
