Jerry Hammons is a 2018 SS/RHP/1B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Cookeville, TN who attends Knoxville Christian. Recorded a 7.37 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with tremendous present strength and physicality to the build. Primary shortstop with arm strength recorded up to 85 mph across. Accurate throws to the bag and maintains well on the run. Good feel for the position with balance throughout. Righthanded hitter with a straight stance and an even planed swing. Looking to elevate the ball and gets his hands in a good launch position. Big leg lift trigger into the swing and hands hitch as a timing mechanism. Hands meet the front leg and extends into the swing from that point. Tremendous strength through the point of impact; exit velocity recorded up to 95 mph. Verbal commitment to Walters State CC.
