Ryan DuBord is a 2018 LHP/ with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Old Saybrook, CT who attends Old Saybrook Senior. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; very good projection remaining. Lefthanded pitcher; uptempo delivery, grabs the ball and goes, creates big crossfire to delivery with long offline stride. Long, loose arm stroke through the back, gets a little offline, throws from very low three quarters slot, creates significant angle to the plate. Fastball worked 78-82 mph with lots of life, especially tough on lefthanded hitters when in the zone. Flashed modest feel for his changeup; better feel for curveball with gradual bite and depth in mid-60's. Did a good job attacking hitters. Named to 2017 Northeast Top Showcase Top Prospect List; good student.
