Stephen Lynch is a 2018 RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Cibolo, TX who attends Samuel Clemens HS. Big build with some present strength and the ability to add more. Simple turn and throw delivery with a pause at the top, compact arm action, will cock his arm in back in his pause, rotational upper body delivery coming through. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight, maintained his velocity well and looked to locate his fastball. Curveball improved throughout the outing as he threw it hard, best spin at highest velocities, tends to hang at lower velos. Mixed his pitches and was successful when down in the zone. Right handed hitter, simple rotational swing from a low hand set, will change eye level in his load occasionally, swung the bat well in games with hard pull to mid field contact and showed his power on one swing. 7.53 runner. Good student.
