Stephen Ridge is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Marvin, NC who attends Marvin Ridge High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted an impressive 6.79 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, showed athletic actions to the ball, soft hands, and a clean release. Developing arm strength across the diamond with balance through actions. At the plate, started with an even stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and quick hand load. Impressive bat to ball ability with good bat speed. Line drive swing plane with ability to get to all fields on a line. Fires hips well to the ball with consistent hard contact. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
