Aron Cox is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-1 187 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Eastside HS. Recorded a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some strength to the build and room for more. Primary outfielder who gets his weight through the ball nicely. Solid arm strength recorded up to 84 mph with a quick transfer and release. Utilizes the crow hop properly with a higher release. Secondary righthanded pitcher who attacks the zone well. Solid mechanics and works downhill well with solid arm speed. Hides the ball well with good extension toward the plate. Curveball is a solid secondary offering that he mixes in nicely. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, spread open stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Downhill swing plane with some juice to the pull side. Barrel path makes contact best to the opposite field. Good student.
