Richard Sanchez is a 2019 LHP/ with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends South Dade Senior High School. Younger player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Primary left handed pitcher, showed good rhythm on the mound, used a long arm action, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Some release at point of contact with a fastball that showed true life at 74-78 mph. Showed a curveball with 1/7 shape and raw feel to spin with best extension coming on off-speed pitches. Also showed a changeup with good life. Showed a slider as well at 69 mph with sweeping action. Mixed four pitches and showed best command from the stretch. Will continue to improve with repetition and age.
