Ryan Toal is a 2018 RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Westfield, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with high waist and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, shows a hip turn at top of delivery and gets tall on backside, shows quickness to arm and works to a three-quarters arm slot. Repeats well and strides on line, keeps delivery simple out of stretch and gained velocity as outing progressed. Topped out at 82 mph, true in life with some effort but held velocity well and maintained out of the stretch. Able to miss bats with fastball and generate plane, curveball shows 12-6 shape with short depth, feel for the pitch up to 67 mph. Nice diving life to changeup down in zone at 74 mph, should continue to incorporate into arsenal. Shows three pitches for strikes.
