Patrick DeSalvo is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Tenafly, NJ who attends Tenafly HS. Recorded a 7.39 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop with twitchiness and athleticism to actions. Clean and soft hands with intent on throws. Works well at the position with good arm strength recorded up to 87 mph. Good footwork and works through the ball well. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Slightly open stance and hits the ball well out in front. Looseness to hands and repeats the swing path well. Gets the barrel out in front of the plate and projects well offensively. Great student.
