Hayden Cooper is a 2018 3B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Wentzville Holt HS. Tall athletic build, long arms and legs, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter. Spread stance, compact direct hand path to the ball, loose swing with good extension through contact, generates very good speed with lift and leverage at contact, hit the ball to all fields both in batting practice and in games, well balanced approach, ball comes off his barrel hard, hit what might have been the hardest ball of the event one at-bat, very promising young hitter. Plays both third base and outfield, actions looked more comfortable in the outfield and his arm worked better, long arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, can gain more outfield velocity immediately with a harder front side to throw against. Bat is his tool at present. Excellent student.
