Jake Modica is a 2018 OF/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Framingham, MA who attends Framingham High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.08 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a short arm action, good accuracy, clean footwork, and carry out of the hand. Showed impressive arm strength up to 89 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, high hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Showed good quickness to the hands with a short, compact swing to the ball. Continued to improve with round with impact off the barrel and improving bat speed. Worked all fields in approach at the plate. Named to Top Prospect List.
