Tyler Lehman is a 6' 160 pound 2007 third baseman and right handed pitcher from York, South Carolina who attends Northwestern High School. He has a tall body and is very lean and athletic. Tyler has a strong arm across the infield, 80 mph during the workout. He has soft hands and very good actions at third base. His throws were very accurate and online. At the plate, Lehman is a contact hitter with a line drive swing plane. He uses the entire field very well. Lehman throws from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound. He has good command of both pitches. His mechanics are quick and compact and he uses a drop and drive delivery. His fastball at 81 mph had good arm side run. His curveball at 69 mph was a very good pitch with good spin and late break. Tyler is also an excellent student as well.
