2005 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Schupp is a 5-10, 155 lb second baseman from North Carolina. He ran the 60 in 7.71 and threw 66 mph during infield drills. He showed sound fielding fundamentals and made the routine play during games. At the plate, Schupp hits from a tall stance with a rotational swing. He tends to open up and commit early to pitches and looks to pull the ball. Adding more strength will help in his ability to drive the ball with this approach. Schupp is also an excellent student. His twin brother Dillon also participated in the showcase.
