Jason Fioto is a 2020 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Medium athletic build. 7.59 runner, shows good athleticism in all his actions on the field. Long and loose arm action on the mound with a 3/4's arm slot, has good tempo and pace to his delivery, repeated his delivery very well and tunneled his pitches with maturity. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, showed good command of his fastball to the glove side half and had nice running action when he went arm side. Curveball had tight spin with a sweeping 10/4 shape and was used effectively at the right counts, worked low in the zone with both pitches and generated lots of weak contact. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short and quick swing, ball comes off the barrel well, solid line drive contact to all fields. Moved well in the infield with quick feet and balanced actions, comfortable throwing from a lower am slot. Solid all around player.
