Jesse Morrison is a 2007 3B/IF/OF/2B from Patrick County High School in Stuart, Virginia, with a 5'8'', 168 lb. frame. He has a presently strong body throughout. Defensively he has good footwork in the infield getting himself in position to make all of the plays. He also has good body control coming in on slow rollers showing athleticism and a solid arm. Morrison can play any infield position, outside of catcher, and could handle the outfield as well giving him position flexibility. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a good load. Morrison is an aggressive hitter, but stays balanced through his swing. He has good bat speed through the hitting zone, and gets good extension on his swing. Morrison has nice bat control allowing him to center the ball consistently. He has instincts for the game, and is a good student as well.
