Jack Adler is a 2018 SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends The Principia HS. Medium build, athletic and lean frame. Ran a 6.92 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic actions with soft hands making all plays, loose arm into throws with accuracy to the bag, average arm strength topping out at 81 mph. Also took reps in the outfield, breaks down into gather but shows infield type actions, similar arm action and arm strength in the outfield as in the infield. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, double toe tap trigger, downhill swing plane, inside hand path, could utilize lower half more for increased strength in swing and added bat speed, rotational actions with mostly opposite field contact.
