Ben Vespi is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Home School. Tall and slender athletic build with plenty of physical projection. Extended high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, lands a bit closed out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight and throw for strikes. Big breaking curveball in the mid-70's, drops it in for strikes well and will throw it at any point in the count. Has also shown a slider and change up in the past and is best when mixing all his pitches. Key to his development will be getting stronger and adding more firmness to his raw stuff. Good student, verbal commitment to Central Florida.
