Sawyer Feller is a 2020 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate and receives the ball out front, gains some ground with lower half and can continue to refine footwork, strong arm and it plays well down to second base with carry, true carry out of hand and with accuracy. Similar big arm across the diamond from first base, works over front side, glove skills play nicely at the ball and shows balance to actions. Righthanded hitter, begins with a higher hand set and utilizes a big leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Swings with intent and shows present bat speed with ability to impact the baseball. Jump off the barrel with back spin to his pull side, best contact when getting extended, will get to front side early with weight shift at times. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect List.
