2016 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Luca Lotito is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Beacon HS. Has a medium frame, lean build, and room to fill out as he continues to mature physically. Posted a 7.33 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, fields the baseball out front with quickness in his footwork. Showed clean transfers intro throws from multiple arm slots, arm strength was up to 80 mph with carry. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set, high back elbow, and small leg lift trigger. Uses a middle to opposite field approach and is patient at the plate. Has good feel for the barrel and hand speed, creates extension through the baseball, hard off the barrel when timed up. Good student.
