Kevin Skagerlind is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Holden, MA who attends Wachusett Regional High School. Incredibly young player, with a medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically with additional strength. Posted a 7.00 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a long, loose arm action, fielded the ball cleanly, inconsistent footwork, and raw arm strength. At the plate, started with a narrow stance, high hand set, and utilized a leg lift timing mechanism. Showed an active barrel, linear swing plane, and quick hands through the zone. Raw bat speed at the plate and worked the ball to the opposite field and up the middle. Will continue to see improvement at the plate with additional strength and age. Also pitched, shorter stride to the plate, rocks into delivery, leg raise over belt, deep hip turn, long, looser arm action, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Limited lower half present in delivery, athletic at landing, and fielded position well. Fastball worked 70-73/74 mph with cut and flashed the ability to get the ball to both sides of the plate. Also showed curveball at 64 mph with depth and 11/5 shape over for strikes.
