Gabriel Ramos is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Woodcrest Christian. Medium-large build with excellent present strength and size on body. Pitches with leg raise delivery, balanced and online. Arm works well with ease and smoothness. FB worked 74-76 with occasional run to the arm side, competes well and throws strikes with pitch consistently. Showed CB/SL/CH combo to round out arsenal. CB showed big bending break; SL had quality tilt, and CH was deceptive with slight fade. Hits from open bent knee stance, big lean back with weight transfer and high finish. Hunts fastballs early in the count, shows strength in swing with power potential. Made accurate throws with good footwork at 1B as well. Very good student.
