Antonio Jareno is a 2018 MIF/RHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope HS. Has a slender frame, square shoulders, lean build, and room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.57 60-yard dash. From the infield, fields the ball out front and moves well to and through the baseball. Has good hands with clean transfers, developing accuracy with arm strength up to 84 MPH. Also showed off impressive arm strength from the outfield topping out at 89 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, slight crouch, and a small stride. Swings on a line drive swing plane with quick hands and good bat speed. Showed some quick twitch athleticism and natural lift at the point of contact. From the mound, throws from a high 3/4 to over the top arm slot with a quick and loose arm action. Fastball has occasional arm side run while also mixing in an 11/5 curveball with solid depth and bite. Changeup has late fading action and late bite down in the zone. Excellent student.
