Joseph Chambers is a 2021 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic. Big and strong athletic build. Simple side step delivery, stays tall and balanced well above the rubber, loose arm with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with good downhill angle, gets some arm side running action, challenged hitters early in the count with fastballs and threw strikes. Curveball is a solid second pitch especially when he gets on top of it, has depth and sharpness at times, showed the ability to pitch backwards and throw the curveball for consistent strikes. Played both the infield and outfield, showed better actions and comfort in the outfield, arm was loose and easy. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a lifting uphill approach, puts the ball in the air consistently. Excellent student.
