Ethan Robinson is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Antioch, TN who attends Donelson Christian Academy. Extra large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, high waist with room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, begins with a side step moving into a higher leg lift up past belt with a slight hip turn at top, uses length well to drive down the mound and create solid extension out front. Long and quick arm action through the back, works to a three-quarters release point, worked around the zone with fastball and topped out at 90 mph, maintained upper-80s throughout outing and flashed hard running life at times on two-seamer. Breaking ball showed slider tilt up to 78 mph with sharp life at times, finished outing with best one of the day breaking away from a right-handed hitter late; flashed a changeup at 71 mph. Plenty of physical projection remaining. Good student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
