Chris Accardo is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Brookside, NJ who attends Delbarton. Medium frame with high-waisted, projectable build. Primary righthanded pitcher, side step to balance, strides cross-fire and lands closed off to the plate, clean arm stroke to lower three quarters slot, fastball worked 78-82 mph with very good arm side life, showed sweeping slider with good bite, creates tough angles and throws strikes. Hits from narrow, upright stance, long stride into swing, wants to get the ball into the air, minimal hand load, power-driven approach, projects well for power. Worked out at 1st base, shows ability to throw from multiple arm slots, hands work, clocked up to 82 mph. Excellent student, named to 2020 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
